Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the purchase of products and services from Oregon Shed Company LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By placing an order—online, in person, or through any other method—you (“Customer,” “you,” or “your”) agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not place an order.

Orders & Acceptance

 

All orders are subject to our acceptance. We may refuse or cancel an order for any reason, including product availability, pricing errors, or payment issues. Orders are confirmed via written communication.

You must provide accurate information including delivery address, site details, product specifications, and any custom requests. Changes after acceptance may result in additional charges and delays.

Custom orders (non-standard sizes, colors, features) cannot be changed or canceled without written approval.

Compliance & Permits

 

You are solely responsible for compliance with local zoning requirements, homeowner association rules, and building codes. You must obtain all permits prior to delivery or installation. We do not guarantee compliance or obtain permits on your behalf unless expressly stated.

Delivery & Installation

 

Delivery dates are estimated, not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to weather, supply shortages, labor availability, or other unforeseen events.

Customer Responsibilities Prior to Delivery:

  • Prepare a clear, level site.

  • Ensure access wide enough (minimum 3 feet wider than the shed on all sides).

  • Remove barriers such as fences, trees, or overhead obstructions.

  • Provide access for hand-carry delivery if needed.

 

Redelivery or wait-time charges may apply if the site is not ready. You or an approved representative must be present to inspect and sign off at installation completion.

Risk of loss transfers to you upon delivery. Any damage must be reported in writing within 24 hours.

Warranties

 

We warrant that sheds are free from defects in materials and workmanship for 5 years from the date of installation when properly maintained. Treated lumber is warranted against rot and decay for the life of the structure.

Warranty Exclusions:

  • Damage from neglect, misuse, improper maintenance, or alteration

  • Extreme weather conditions or natural disasters

  • Ground settling, foundation failure, or site-related structural issues

  • Pest infestation, fading, cosmetic imperfections, or wear and tear

 

Warranty claims require proof of purchase and photos. We may repair or replace parts at our discretion. Labor after initial installation is not included unless otherwise stated.

Except as expressly provided, all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are disclaimed.

​

All new shed customers automatically receive LP Smartside 50-year prorated limited warranty (including 5 years of 100% labor and replacement coverage, followed by prorated coverage)  

 

 No warranty registration is required- the coverage activates upon the purchase and proper installation.

 

The warranty applies to the original purchaser (Oregon Shed co.) , the original shed owner and the next owner if the shed is ever sold (one transfer).

 

 A copy of the official LP Smartside warranty document, a purchase receipt and a short letter from Oregon Shed Co. stating the installation/completion date with be provided to the new owner of the shed built by Oregon Shed company.

 

All PVC trim on new sheds is covered with a 5 year 100% warranty and prorated thereafter.

Limitation of Liability

 

Our liability will not exceed the purchase price paid. We are not responsible for indirect or consequential damages, including lost profits, lost use, or property damage.

You agree to indemnify Oregon Shed Company LLC for any claims arising from improper installation preparation, misuse, unpermitted use, or violation of legal restrictions.

​

Sheds are not intended for habitation or retail commercial use. Such use voids all warranties and liability.

​

Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays caused by events beyond our control, including weather, natural disasters, accidents, supply chain disruptions, government actions, or labor disputes.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in state or federal courts located in Multnomah County, Oregon, unless otherwise required by law.
